VOLUNTEER WITH US

We are a volunteer run program. As a volunteer, you will  learn about our unique horses. You will also gain rewarding skills and enjoyment from assisting the students. Most of all, you will touch many lives by lending a helping hand.

Volunteer Duties May Include:
 
¬  Lead walker or side walker

¬  Grooming, tacking and helping during classes 

¬  Helping with fund raising events

¬  Ongoing ranch maintenance

¬  Office, computer and website assistance

Volunteering is fulfilling.  Seeing the changes that take place with clients is absolutely awesome.

Our volunteers experience the stress-reducing and mood-boosting benefits of caring for horses, too!

 

Volunteer Requirements:

 

Volunteers ages 6-15 must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian. Youth volunteers who are 16 and over must have parent and director approval and complete volunteer training.  

All side walkers and horse handlers must attend a yearly training. 

Because we work with children, all volunteers must be finger-printed.

Physical requirements must match the task/activity.
